They handcuffed my son for reasons unknown

handcuffs-bw.jpgThey handcuffed my son for reasons unknown
Forced him down onto stone-cold ground
The boy's still a boy, but boy, has he grown.

With cuffs cutting tight he let out a moan
It's not very nice to be wrongfully bound
They handcuffed my son for reasons unknown.

On Saturday night when crooks are prone
Young cop entered my home without a sound
The boy's still a boy, but boy, has he grown.

No door knock, no ring, no courtesy shown
He trespassed my castle to my astound
They handcuffed my son for reasons unknown.

When friends enter a domicile not their own
Without consent, reputation is browned
The boy's still a boy, but boy, has he grown.

There a duty to knock when guard of Queen's throne
For this, Montreal police are world-renowned
They handcuffed my son for reasons unknown
The boy's still a boy, but boy, has he grown.
